Last day in Paris. Just when we thought we are going to end our Paris trip in Disneyland after the fairytale fireworks, we don’t. 4 days 3 nights in Paris was short yet memorable.
It was pouring rain on the first night after check-in to our Airbnb apartment at Saint-Ouen area, none of the three restaurant we were looking at open for dinner. I would say not a even single restaurant/cafe around the Saint-Ouen area open. Quiet street and cold night therefore we have decided to rest early rather than visiting Tour Eiffel for a night shoot. I wanted to take a shower and decided to test the water temperature before, the water heating wasn’t working at all and the owner of our apartment didn’t reply. The lights went out suddenly when we were boiling water with pots and kettle, checked the fuse box and nothing wrong with it, it was just our apartment. We have no choice but to move out to hotel which is 20 minutes away from our location at midnight. That’s my first impression of Paris.
Everything went really smooth until we were on our way back to hotel from Disneyland. We were sitting on the bench while waiting for the next train, things just got real. A man approached and was talking to us and got really mad, we were trying to run away from him and he was chasing after us even when we got onto the train. (no one was helping us on the platform until we met a Chinese couple who is able to speak French. They were trying to stop him to board onto the train but was unsuccessful). At this point, the man was still running and looking for us on the train and we were really really luckily that people who were on the train was so helpful and asked us to alight on the next station. Two really kind men were accompanying us until wait we get onto Uber to back to hotel.
Nonetheless, Paris Disneyland is still beautiful in its own way.
